In the Footsteps of the First Century

In Italy the history is still standing, and that changes how you read it.

You come ashore at Puteoli, where Paul landed and found brothers waiting for him — a real harbor with real water, not a line on a page. You stand in Rome, where he spent two years under guard and went on teaching everyone who came to him. At Pompeii you see first-century life exactly as it stopped, down to the loaves still in the baker's oven — the ordinary world the good news first walked into.

And in Bologna we spend a day at the new branch office with the family there, which has a way of tying the first century to this one.

It's a trip about history. It turns out to be a trip about faith, because for us they were never two different things.
