Oregon is where creation does the talking. Water that falls 620 feet without pausing. A lake so deep and so still the mountains lie upside down in it. Sitka spruce that have been standing for 750 years. Whales that find the same stretch of coast every year without a chart. And after dark, in one of the last truly dark corners of the country, more stars overhead than most of us have ever been given the chance to see.
We take it slowly on purpose. There's no prize for covering ground. The point is to stand in front of the things Jehovah made and let them do what they were made to do — tell you something about him. Most of our travelers come home seeing him a little bigger than when they left.
